Mentor LinkUp
Thursday, 23 September 2021 (fully remote)
We are now finalizing the groups. Interested attendees who filled the 2-min survey will soon receive information on their group meeting (confirmation of time-slot, instructions on how to connect).
Interest in the event has been robust, but we have still limited availability. For further information, .
As a signature element of the inaugural hybrid MicroTAS 2021, we are creating a Mentoring Network and Mentoring Forum open to all MicroTAS 2021 registered attendees.
Designed to create deeper connections among the MicroTAS community, this inaugural Mentor LinkUp should build your professional network, whether you are established or just starting out. Mentor LinkUp should be an efficient, but impactful experience.
During the intimate virtual forum, small groups of mentees will connect with established leaders from academia or industry. A short introduction will set the stage for the main element: an informal fireside chat within the small groups.
While maintaining a professional tone, we do see an excellent opportunity to delve into topics as diverse as choosing research questions to finding your place in the research & development world. Established leaders will make new global connections with up & coming talent, and understand the perspective of our next generation of leading contributors.
To stay informed, please indicate your interest in joining this year's community of Mentors (established industry and academic researchers) and Mentees (postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, trainees) by checking the relevant box on your MicroTAS 2021 registration form.
